Default 2001 jeep cherokee XJ No bus

No bus, wrecked jeep, air bags deployed, put in new air bags and air bag sensor under console. Do I need to flash or reset to clear no bus

No Bus is generally just a poor connection with the plug on the wiring harness in the back of the instrument cluster. But since it was wrecked, reset the ECM and BCM by taking the battery cables off and touhig them together and then replace

No BUS can be any number of things. Grounds, wiring, sensors, or any of the modules like the airbag controller, cluster, TCM, PCM, etc..

Try resetting as posted and see if it helps.

Yeah, can also be caused by shorted wiring to some of the sensors, such as the crank sensor or a shorted clockspring. Blown fuse(s) as well. Disconnecting sensors might help troubleshoot. How bad was it crunched? Does it start at all?

Okay, so ignore what I said about sensors. It's almost certainly the instrument cluster or it's connection on the back..

I took off battery cables and jeld them together for a minute, reconnected and still have no bus and no guages

I have also used a multi meter at pins 3 and 4, and 11 and 4. I get 2.5 volts on both connections
