2in with 30x9.50s or 3in with 31x10.50s?
I have a kargomaster roof rack attached to the raingutters and it kind of overpowers the roof. I have 235/75 on aftermarket wheels with decent backspacing. Sidwall is even with the fenders. Anyways.. the roof racks look great on cherokees with a lift. Is 2in and 30x9.50's going to give me that good looking stance or do I need to go big? Thanks in advance for the help.

Well after the lift settles, the 3 inch that you originally had will turn into a 2.75 or 2.5 inch lift. If you buy the 2 incher, you're going to look like you have almost no lift by the time it settles. So if you don't go and do the 3inch with 31's, you're wasting your money in my opinion.

I know this is off topic but I'm taking a trip to the salvage yard soon and was wondering what should I get to lift my XJ 3 inches or so using salvaged parts.
Also what setup are you running? What are your leafs from? PM me if you'd like! I could really use the information!

To me, the stance is dictated by the width of the tires as much as anything as well. I feel that 9.5 tires don't really do anything to improve stance, but here we are talking about something subjective. You will be the one driving it, and being seen in it, so do what looks good to you. I have a 3" Rusty's spring pack and 31x10.5. I personally like the stance it has. Also consider the backspacing that your rims have. I'm not sure how many people run wheel spacers but 1" or 1.5" spacers can change the stance considerably.

i built my own fairing and my own rack. they blend very well. i ran led lights on the fairing. and four floods across the front. to me its not over powering and looks super sharp. might try a larger fairing
