Have a question and any would be appreciated!
Had to replace the negative wire for the battery
The replacement piece did not have secondary ground G100
Even without the G100 connected the jeep started but sounded like it was going to stall and all electronics werent working including dash. then realized G100 was for electronics ground so added a separate wire going to negative battery terminal
After adding this went to start the jeep and heard one pop and would not turn over at all

From what I have read believe this may be a ground issue but my question is - Does anyone know why would it not start when we added the secondary negative ground but was able to start without it?

Checked battery's voltage and that wasn't the issue

Any luck so far? I believe the source of the pop is the problem, not the ground. Electrical is a fickle beast, especially when you're dealing with ignition coils and a poor ground...

 

I’ll recheck the grounds and ignition coil and report back, thank you Jim!
