I’ve got a collapsed intake lifter.... what to do?

I gotta say, you've had a run of bad luck, but you seem to be taking it in stride. Just hang in there. Once you get past these initial issues, there will be more issues waiting. But most of us tend to feel that what these vehicles can do is worth it.

 

new (100 miles) lifter has hole in it, bottom of lifter is worn right thru.

 

When you replaced the lifter did you clean out the bore? Sometimes there can be varnish or oil build up that can cause lifter issues.
