Can i convert a inline six from a 99 into a 95 jeep cherokee

Question Can i convert a inline six from a 99 into a 95 jeep cherokee

Was wandering if i can pull a motor from a 99 jeep cherokee inline six and put it into my 95 jeep cherokee without any clearence problems? i have heard the only thing different is the location of the oil filter Mount? is this true ? and if so can i change it to the 95 oil filter mount or what please help

Not sure about the difference in the oil filter mount but, INHO, the easiest way to make a 99 motor RUN in a 95 Jeep would be to use just the motor itself from the 99. Use the original throttle body, fuel injection and all sensors from the 95 Jeep.

thanks man imgonna get a 99 jeep cherokee block and put all performance internals on it
