Triple pass means the rad is divided into 3 sections.....top, middle, bottom. Coolant flow zigzags across the rad....right to left, left to right, right to left. What u have is a 3 row copper/brass single pass (right to left) rad. OE stock rad is a 1 (very wide) row single pass (right to left) rad. That pic looks like a new pump compared to this one.

Yeah that pump is done hahaha, mine was still working fine, it was the gasket on the block that blew out

That is the result of cavitation. Cavitation is what happens when coolant system is neglected, especially with OAT & HOAT type antifreeze. Those new long-life coolants are a PITA if you; 1. have a leak that allows air to get into system 2. mix conventional antifreeze with them 3. exceed change intervals.

I think my jeep had all 3 of those problems at some point haha, but now its good, no more leaks and now i run zerex G-05 coolant, its expensive but definitely worth it.

Do not get too complacent with G-05 it is still hoat (hybrid organic acid technology) take the H away and it is a dexcool clone! The only difference is G05 contains some silicates. Both are organic.
