Yesterday my jeep died in a gas station as i tried to start it after i pumped my gas. The first time i tried to start it it just clicked. then when i went to start it again nothing happened. so some guy gave me a jump, or at least tried to and the same thing happend...absolutly nothing...

so another guy helped me and we just tightened the battery terminals and cleaned them out. then my jeep started right up. so today when i went to start it (first time since then) it just cranks and cranks and cranks...

what could be the problem?

was it wet out? If so prob a CPS...

 

yeah it was wet out...plus two days ago it was stuck in a mud hole over night....so what would i need to do to get this thing running again?

 

Prob replace the crank precision sensor

 

mine could be that easy

 

Take some reaings from it first with a multimeter. Post up your results. I have a FSM I can look up the numbers for you to see if the readings are within specs.
