2000 jeep cherokee lock problem

2000 jeep cherokee lock problem
When I open the door the locks will go crazy... They will keep clicking.... Then sometimes they will work fine... It is wierd

Check all the harnesses in the other doors? Other than that, go back and double check your work, make sure you didn't break or fray something, and grounds are nice and clean. I hate electrical, LOL

not a bad idea... I might just rip the doors off my jeep.... I almost did today driving home from work hearing the clicking of the locks... So I turned the radio up haha

I love my manual interior SE but it's a pain reaching over to roll down the passenger window all the time. 2 door power door panels are hard to find though...

Mine started going crazy while I was on a six hour trip. Every bump would make the doors lock. It was driving me nuts, so I pulled over and posted here asking for the location of the fuse. CCKen posted a little while later with that info and saved my Jeep from being set on fire on the side of the road.
Maybe someday I'll get around to fixing the wiring, but for now I've just left that fuse uninstalled and gotten used to using the locks manually.
