where is the Ambiend temp sensor located at on a 2000 jeep cherokee?

Is the sensor supposed to just hang there like that, or is it usually attached somewhere? Mine just dangles behind the bumper and I can’t figure out how it should be attached.

OK, that makes more sense. Mine has the short tab, but no long tab with attach hole. I suppose the big tab is still attached to the crossmember someplace. Time to dig out a flashlight and find that missing piece.

Drill a hole into the small tab and use a ziptie to secure it.
