I have been having an issue with my AC recently, it starts out blowing cold for about 5 minutes than blows hot for the reminder of the ride. I had someone check the pressure in the unit and it was reading what it should have on the gauges. I don't know anything about my ac unit and am looking for some trouble shooting advice before I take it to someone to fix and they charge me an insane price. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
Mine does something similar. Could be your compressor clutch not activating when hot. You could try this.

If you are good on r-134a, then I would look next to the clutch face plate as the others are pointing to. I just did this and it worked out well.
You can buy a new oem faceplate off of ebay for about 35$. I took my original one off and it was very warped so I went that route.
