Yes, the pump alone can be replaced, but I think putting a Bosch pump into an Airtex unit is like putting lace curtains on a pig's ****. You'll still have the Airtex fuel pressure regulator/filter and fuel level sending unit to deal with.
Take the pump back and buy a Bosch fuel pump module assembly or a Carter fuel pump module assembly.

No, I've had several installed in various vehicles over the years. Just had one put in my newly acquired '97 Grand Cherokee Friday. DD for my daughter.
Sent her alone back home Saturday, 250 miles away through the mountains. And she's 6 months pregnant.
Obviously I have confidence in Precision fuel pumps. Buy the whole assembly including the sender.

Good Luck, You probably couldn't give away an Airtex fuel pump on here. Since they are worthless fuel pumps.

Incidentally, Jeep and NAPA told me the Bosch fuel pump only had a 1 year warranty, while the Precision from O'Reilly's had a lifetime warranty.
I don't want to have to replace one again anytime soon.

A poster on NAXJA said, some time ago, that he works for O'reilly and he thinks Precision pumps are just Airtex pumps repackaged.
Lifetime warranty? All ChiCom parts have a lifetime warranty.
LOL

CKP is what Chrysler calls the Crankshaft Position Sensor and CPS is what the Cherokee owner folks call it.
The OEM CKP/CPS from the dealer is highly recommended. Other aftermarket units seem to fail prematurely.

Firestorm500, maybe that counter puke at O'reilly was right (read what HS00XJ said).
