Question 2000 cherokee door locks

I HAVE A 2000 JEEP CHEROKEE AND I AM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE POWER DOOR LOCKS NOT WORKING. IT ALMOST SEEMS LIKE ONE OF THE SWITCHES IS STUCK IN THE ON POSITION. I HAD TO PULL THE NUMBER 15 FUSE BECAUSE IT WAS DRAINING MY BATTERY. I REPLACED THE PASSENGER SIDE SWITCHES THINKING IT WAS THEM BECAUSE THE SWITCH WAS DRAINING THE BATTERY. AFTER I REPLACED THE SWITCHED AND PLUGGED THE HARNESS BACK IN ALL THE DOORS UNLOCKED. I TRIED USING THE DOOR LOCK SWITCHES AFTER THIS BUT THEY WILL NOT WORK. I WAS WONDERING IF THERE IS ANYTHING ELSE CONNECTED TO THE NUMBER 15 FUSE THAT COULD BE CAUSING THE PROBLEM OR IF THERE IS ANY OTHER ADVICE ON WHAT IT COULD BE.

I'd next try disconnecting wire connectors to a driver side power windows/locks/mirrors switch module. See if that stops your battery drain. I had a bad switch which gave me problems with windows operation.

it doesn't even seem like the locks are even trying to operate when i press the lock switch so im not sure it is a bent rod. If it is how would i tell

Mine was bad too.
I ended up getting another one at the local salvage garden.
From what ive found this is common in '97 - up Cherokees.
You can even get replacements on e - bay for $50.
