Default 2 dumb questions

alright so i know this might sound dumb and i have had these problems on other vehicles but was able to figure them out but right now i just cant on my xj.

1) the upper mount on the front shocks, cant break them loose and i cant cut them without maybe hittin wires on one side or break lines on the other, any suggestions??
2) the front main leaf spring bolt was able to unthread from the nut on the inside no problem, but has now wedged itself in the metal bushing in the rubber and now just spins, any ideas on how to get it out without having to cut the bolt??

thanks for any help

1) soak it with penetrating oil, might have to let it sit with repeat applications. Sometimes heating it up and letting it cool a few times breaks the corrosion loose too.
2) Cut the bolt off then drive it out of the bushing with a punch or press. You can't get behind it to knock it out with the spring in place so you're kinda stuck with sawing it off.
