I had mentioned that there were no codes earlier sorry. And from what I have heard, carb cleaner can dry out vacuum lines and seals so I avoid using it and go for the propane method. Helped me find one leak but I can't seem to find any more

Where do people come up with some of this crap?
I've been using carb cleaner for over 50 years and brake cleaner for over 20 years. I just grab what ever is handy.

Propane is total vapor as it exits the cylinder. blows all over the place and you can't pinpoint leaks nearly as well with the tried and true stuff.

Too bad the thread went astray I was following it looking for help myself lol, I have the same jeep but in manual with the same symptoms and similar repairs done, turns out I did have a vacuum leak, after looking everyplace else I heard a sucking sound from the throttle body, I thought I was hearing the IAC turns out my throttle body bushings are shot and idle would change when you wiggle the rod, a spray of brake clean on the rod nearly stalled her out.

Don't underestimate the leaks ....
