Hi guys and gals. My Cherokee is my baby and lives in the garage during the week. I pulled it out Saturday to drive for the weekend. I flipped the switch for the rear wiper and hit the washer. Then realized that the wiper just stayed on. I hit the switch and it didn't do anything. I ended up pulling the fuse so it is off now but the button is still stuck in the on position. Any ideas on unsticking the switch, or do I need to get a new switch? If I need to switch out the switch, I can't find any threads, videos or pictures of how to do it. All help would be helpful.

I saw the YouTube of the wrangler… It looked like it was a little different because of the center console on the Cherokee. As well the dash is different and covers the top of the center console. I was hoping there was a video that was Cherokee specific. I have a feeling that center console is just held on by clips and may pull right off as you indicated with your 2000. I just need that confirmed. Thank you so much for your help.

Turn the key to the on position, move the shifter to 1/2, grab the bottom of the bezel and give it a yank.
There will be 3 screws holding in the switch bezel.
Then remove the 5 connectors.
The actual switch removal from the bezel in the video papablista posted can be used from that point on.
Now be careful. 20 year old plastic likes to crack. Bezel not so much but getting the switch out more so.
I am always a little leery when it comes to that part.
Been lucky so far though. LOL.
