Unhappy 1997 jeep grand cherokee won't start

hey all, could use some ideas,i have owned this jeep since new,it has 114000 miles on it which averages roughly 5000 miles a year, never gets driven, hasn't been driven 50 miles in last 2yrs.decided i was going to start driving it,filled it up with gas drove about 30 miles, parked it next day would'nt start, can hear the fuel pump kick on,just cranks.i poured a little fuel in the top still won't fire up.i checked the fuses can't find none bad.i've replaced the fuel relay because i've had one go bad before,i tried checking for spark but didn't see any, replaced the coil, didn't see any, pulled the coil wire off the cap stuck a screwdriver in the end put it near some still and looked for it to arc, maybe not a goodway to check, will get back to checking when it stops pouring the rain here.not a great mechanic but i can find my way around this thing ok,any suggestions on what to look for would be greatly appreciated..thanks in advance.

Crank position sensor. Lots and lots of threads on that topic on this site. My 98 is driven maybe 3k per year and two years ago I had a no start condition without spark. That was the issue. Check the threads for the testing and R&R procedure, which is a little tricky, but not impossible with the right tools and some patience.

That might have and ASD relay fused, so that even a rear 02 sensor wire grounding can take it out. Without the Auto Shutdown Realy, not much works.

You might isolate...if it has no injector pulse, your problem likely is not the coil.

Any codes? Btw it may be one of those mini fuses, Idk.

You might try the Grand Cherokee section.......
