1996 Heater things,,,I DID search,,

Hey all,,

I KNOW that the ball or whatever behind the bumper, passenger side controls the HVAC controls in the cab. But how many lines is there to it?

I can only feel/find 1. On the right side of the ball.

I looked for a diagram or pics. Hopefully someone has some info for me.

Gotta be at least vacuum going to it and vacuum coming out of it. Remove it and look more closely.

You need 2 line to the ball.

Oval/football shape...multiple lines.

Good morning everyone,,

Well I took the vacuum ?"ball?" out last evening. It is the oval / football kinda shaped one.
It has only ONE line going to it. On the right side. And there was a tiny crack in the tank at one of the mounting "feet".

So I superglued and taped it to hold it. Then when it dried I siliconed it too.

NO LEAK,,,and my heater is fully functional.
