1996 cherokee won't start when hot?
i have a 1996 jeep cherokee sport 4.0
when it's been driven for 20mins or more at 80-100km/h and i turn off the ignition it won't start again until it's cooled down
the temperature gauge doesn't ever go over 100 ( or halfway on the gauge)
it never uses any water and the oil is fine
Any suggestions?

If it turns over but won't start when hot, then yes....the crank sensor is the #1 suspect. It is a very common failure on the 4.0
Here is a link to more on the crank sensor. The #2 suspect is the ignition coil, but concentrate on the crank sensor first, as it is a more common failure.
Good luck!
