I came across this in a upcoming auction. a 1991 XJ manual tranny with under 105,000 miles going up for auction on https://primetimeauctions.hibid.com/...t-listSaturday. I have no interest in this just posting it for anyone who may be interestd

 

Looks real nice. However anyone who has pulled the gauges knows how easy it is to have inaccurate mileage. My 95 has 300k on the body but my ODO reads 13xK due to swapping out the idiot light gauge.
They take a lot of interior exterior pictures, but never the important ones like the floorpans from underneath and the frame.

Hopefully it goes to a nice new home with someone who appreciates the XJ.

 

If you click on the auto report ( similar to a car fax) you will see that it has only had 2 owners and one was a government agency for most of its life. It also shows the mileage checks out and it has been in 1 minor accident to the left rear. I bought my 2001 XJ sport 2 years ago for $1300 at this auction and it only had 104,000 miles and it had a brand new engine. Just letting anyone who might be looking for a 5 speed to check it out. Idaho cars generally do not rust too bad because we use very little salt on the roads.
