1989 XJ
Hey, all!
So I am going to go look at this tomorrow and take it for a test drive.
Anything specific I should check for?
I don't know much about the vehicle (besides what is listed), except that it is an automatic and just passed state inspection.
The owner has never offroaded in it, but I'm pretty laid back in terms of offroading and probably won't be doing much more than a mostly stock XJ (such as Rockhead's XJ Up-Country) can handle.
Just based off the photos, I am slightly concerned that there might be some wheelwell rub when coming down off of rocks, but that's pretty fixable.
Again, any suggestions?
Thanks!

Some things anyone buying a car should check before purchasing:
-Rust underneath
-Damage/repairs
-Check oil for water or gas (if theres gas in the oil you would smell it and water would turn it milky color)
-Check coolant to see if its dirty
-Check transmission dipstick to make sure it doesnt smell burnt and isnt dirty.
Make sure you check the oil and trans after test driving the vehicle.
Because this is an 89, it is a renix model, which means no check engine light. (use common sense and make sure there are no major noticeable issues with said vehicle) Also make sure the Tcase works.
