Hey guys
I found a guy on craigslist that is selling a wagoneer for parts for $250 bucks. Both axles are in decent shape and are dana 44's. I need them for my cherokee. Think this is a good deal? any input? Need a quick response cause i dont think hes waitng long.

 

Oh and it is a 1977.

 

it's worth more than that for scrap. The front axle will be passenger drop... so unless you do alot of changing... going to be a pain.

Buy it pull the axles, scrap it, and sell the axles... make an extra$300 easy.

the front diff is on the passengers side of the housing. on XJ's its on the drivers so it will NOT work without major work which is not worth it... wagoneer's switch to drivers drop in 1980.

Okay then, just a few years short....bummer. I guess ill just take the rear 44. Said he would give it to me for $125.
