Default 13.5 on 15x8 rim

A 13.5" tire will work on a 15x8" rim correct? I know a 10" wide rim is prob better but ive heard a 8" wide rim will hold the bead better. I know it will go on there.

I really dont see how 1" would make any difference ove running a 12.5 on a 8" rim.

yeah its possible but your only really supposed to run 13 wide on an 8 inch rim.. 10 inch will do 15.5 though on the specs for some reason.. weird huh?

it may tell you on the sidewall of the tire.

my 36x13.5 super swamper iroks are stamped for a 10 inch rim.

If the rims not wide enough for the tire it will wear terribly and possibly even break beads. That's a wide tire for a 8" inch rim, the side wall's are going to be sticking out like my gut.

i have done 13.5's on an 8" wheel

it was a 36" tire though

the smaller the tire the more of an oval shape it will be on the narrower wheel and wear a little funky

Ive ran mostly 12.50 width tires throughout the years and have always ran a 7" wide wheel on them, even a 6" wide at times. Ive been in this same boat over the 14.50 boggers i have and running them on 8" wheels as well, said screw it and left the 10" wide wheels on them. You can run a 8" wheel on the 13.50's, if you run alot of air in them they will wear in center and too like Ktmracer said, the smaller the tire the more bubble shape its gonna have in the center. What height tire are you planning to run? And yes the less width of rim gives less chance of breaking a bead. My 33x12.50 buckshots are on 7" wheels and they are wore evenly, also i dont run no more then 10 to 12 psi in them, thats on or offroad.

They say max 30psi I was planning on running 20-25psi in them max. They will also be balanced with beads.

What kind of tire is this 13.50, along with how tall is it? Also when it comes to offroad tires, etc.. the bigger the tire, the less air it needs.
