Default #1 cylinder......HELP!

So I just picked up this Jeep last weekend and on the second day I had it things started going wrong. The wires to the #1 injector were showing and nearly cracked in two. When I touched them to take a closer look they fully broke in two. I stripped them back and twisted them together to make it home. It missed and sputtered all the way home. Once home I soldered the wires back together and taped them up. No change still ran like crap. Got a scanner and popped the p0201 code. Since then have replaced plugs, wires, cap, rotor, #1 injector and CPS. Whats next?? I'm at a loss on what to check/replace next.

Any help would be great. My friends were already looking at me strange when I told them I was buying a Jeep that has 200,000 miles on it already. I told them it was just broke in.

maybe wires broke in another place might want to check for continuity thru them as far back as you can from the plug

What would you use to test with? Just a small test light or some kind of volt meter?

turn the meter on and turn the dial to the symbol that look lik a little horse shoe looking thing then touch the probes together the needle should go all the way to the right that means the a good connection between the two probes, then take one probe and touch a terminal in the plug take the other end and go as far back on the wire connected to the that terminal and stick the same wire needle should swing to right again.if not theres a break in the wire back furthuer. you might have to strip a little wire to get a bare spot
