Once home I soldered the wires back together and taped them up. No change still ran like crap. Got a scanner and popped the p0201 code. Any help would be great. My friends were already looking at me strange when I told them I was buying a Jeep that has 200,000 miles on it already. I told them it was just broke in.
it ran fine b4 this happened???

any possibility the fuel pump is getting weak and not able to push enough fuel through the fuel rail to feed all the injectors enough volume of fuel?

ok, so here it is. it has something to do with the plug/wire for the injector. test light light when touched to the positive part of the plug when unhooked but still wont fire the injector. when #1 and #2 wires are switched then #1 works and #2 dont, so i know both injectors work. i know injectors work because you can hear them ticking when running and hold the end of a screwdriver to your ear while touching the injector with the blade.

Big thanks to you freegdr. Without your help and insight I would still be lost wondering what to do next. After I finally read and completely understood the procedures it was telling me to take it became very clear that the ground trigger was missing on that injector causing it not to work, results being a bad PCM. THANKS!!
