Hi everyone,
Hope this is the right place for this. My WJ has had a bad cc for 3 years now. So I jumped in after work, started it up & noticed it was running rough, idle a little high & loud ticking noise. Did I mention that the check engine light was on. So I started driving and it felt sluggish. As I got on the Hwy & accelerated the ce started flashing and I could barely get up to 40mph. I got off and had it towed to the house. Not sure what the problem is but think I should start at the cc. The cc does not look like the honeycomb that I've seen so what am I looking for?
Thanks 206

Welcome to the XJ forum. You want the WJ forum. A plugged convertor is quite possible, but the question is why. Pull codes and post.
