What’s the size of that ZJ reservoir? Think it’ll fit in the XJ fender?

I'm going with the cowl filter, so the airbox will be gone. Yes, two pumps. It's 3.8L and I don't think would fit in the fender. It's pretty big, and from what you said probably not the route you want to go.

Why bother. I always figured the low fluid sensor was cause you can't visibly see the reservoir. Now you can.
I had to replace the rear pump in my '00. Man were those things crusty. I decided to do the front one too.
I was toying with the idea of doing the sensor too. My while we are here thing.
I get the logic of having the sensor. But if I did not no big deal. What would bug me is if it went and the light stayed on all the time.
Then it occurred to me what would happen if you just unplugged it.
The general consensus on the forum, cause I asked, was nothing. Unplugged the light would not be on all the time so.........
I left it alone and it still works as it should. At least pretty sure it does. I try not to let it get so low that the light does come on.

I meant the reservoir as a whole was hard to get positioned right in the engine bay. Getting the sensor in there should be easy. Drill a phole, put in the grommet, put in the sensor.

I got that part.
Just figure why go through the trouble for the sensor.

ok I agree, the light is useless. I care about having two holes in a reservoir. I’m trying to find one like that
