The rear intermittent setting on my '01 stopped working all of a sudden altough it still wipes when I hold down the button to dispense the washer solution.

I remember on my old '90 XJ there was a relay right on the wiper motor. Is it the same for the '01? Could this be the culprit?

Mine just started to do this also, I haven't had a chance to look into it. I had another switch and that didn't fix it.

Did anyone ever solve this issue? I have the same problem...tried a new switch and wiper motor already.

so neither fixed your problem?

I've never had a vehicle with so many electrical problems. My 1990 XJ was leaps and bounds more reliable than my 2001.

It pisses me off becuase the truck "looks" to be in such good shape.
