Default 01 XJ Sport Axle Swap from Which Chrysler Vehicles?
Looking to upgrade my rear axle assembly to an 8.25" axle. Anyone have a list of compatible Dodge Durango or Dakota's that fit XJ's? Is there a lot of modification needed to make them fit? Was hoping for an 97-99 XJ nearby but haven't had any luck.

One out of a 90-01 XJ is a direct bolt in.

Are you wanting the axle shafts with more splines in an 8.25?
Should be a ton of XJ ones around.

So far haven't had any nearby. Hoping but realizing I may need to go another route.

Durangos, and Dakotas have a different bolt pattern.
