Ok did comp check cylinders in this order 90 0 30 30 120 90. yes that's correct I'm changing the gasket but while the heads off I'm getting it checked ( valves, rods etc) before going any further I'll keep updates

Not sure if the issue you had can be explained by the values of a compression test. That would likely cause a range of other symptoms...

Exactly. Low compression is neither intermittent nor cause the symptoms described earlier.

If he had a clogged cat or muffler and it heated up, could have caused enough back pressure to blow out a valve stem seal, which would then cause his zero compression. I'm thinking there are multiple issues here

So im now figuring out that, its only doing it when its really hot out.. Just moved to florida from Rhode Island. Never acted up for me like this before in New England Heat or Cold. Seems to do it less at night when its a little cooler. Im even more confused now..

Well heads getting resurfaced now and the valves were good so I'm going to wait and see what comes back buying a new cat afterwards

hmmm. could be more to it, but you'll know more once the head is back & installed with new gaskets.
