Default 00 Jeep XJ Drivetrain issue help?

I own a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport. Not sure whats going on with it but lately after a big drive (1300miles), my XJ has been giving me issues. Cant really explain it but heres what it does....
Pulling out of the driveway in reverse and shift it into drive, As soon as I hit the accelerator, it has no go, doesnt want to go past 2RPMs, and thats with my foot to the floor and takes a minute before it will actually catch speed.

Next example at a Stop Light and I go to hit the gas from a complete stop once the light changes, it has no get up and go until a minute or 2 later even with foot to the floor...

Anybody have any ideas?
The cat to the muffler is brand new so I dont think its my Cat, i do need both O2 sensors but its been like that for the past year or so that ive owned it and theres been no issue...

Help?

Fuel pump on its way out, test the fuel pressure 2000 XJ runs a 49psi returnless fuel system.

Only have issues when trying to accelerate from stop? Or also whilst driving, cornering?

I've seen before that when welding on the new cat, the heat from that or vibration caused the internals of the muffler to come apart and block the opening.

Does it rev up normally in neutral? Does it move normally if you shift manually through the gears moving from a stop?

Sounds like it's not downshifting into 1st when coming to a stop, or going into 1st when going from reverse.

Solenoid A, TCM, or Vavle Body

In Neutral it hangs out at around 800-1000 rpms.
From a complete stop it wont shift into second, it will
Take a minute or so to shift. It wont rev any higher than
2rpms.

Im really hoping its not the cat, its less than a year old
Altho it somewhat makes sense if it was it because previously before this jeep
I had a 96, And i hopped onto the Highway and couldnt rev any higher than 2rpms, I was stuck doing 35 on a 65. Come to find out the cat was no good.

LOL. No worries mate, will get right on it! Hold the money on the head job, invest in the Jeep first.

As for the OP's issue: I think you're trying to say your trans appears to not engange in next gear? Engine won't rev > 2000 rpm's?

Do a few basic checks first, not sure if done already, can't scroll back up now. Let's chek the trans first:

Check ATF fluid level (and quality)
Try shifting manually through the gears and see if the issue disappears
(this method can be used to distinguish between mechanical or electrical trans issues)

TPS can also be involved, fuelpump etc.
