Ok guys i have just a few more questions....

will i have to use fuel injectors from my 96 or do i use the injectors from an 00?

also do i use my orig fuel rail from my 96 or do i need a fuel rail from an 00?

do i need an 00 pcv valve, and will i have to do any mods to get it to fit?

how do i resize the hose from the map sensor?

calm down dude. you won't always get an immediate response, especially when some of us work long nights and sleep days.

use EVERYTHING from the 96, get some vacuum hoses and connectors from the junkyard, and cut and splice vacuum stuff til it fits. same with PCV

are you reading your own thread man? youve been answered already and everything except the pcv valve... and JeepCoMJ has answer probly all of them.. maybe even twice! do the swap... if you need to go get another pcv valve then do it... there only like $4... if not then good... vacuum line size doesnt matter as long as they fit tight...

dang... i thought i had it down and ready... i got a 96 motor and started swapping in my intake a couple hours ago... but got to the power steering pump and im stuck... lol... i read somewhere that the 96 and up you were good on the brackets but doesnt seem to work that way... i also grabbed the bracket that was mounted in the same spot off the 01... and it looks alot alike... and the pump fits to it the same... but the back side of this bracket doesnt mount up right to the intake and water pump right... in fact not at all... i read elsewhere you have to grab the power steering pump bracket (which is on the other side of the motor) off the 00+ and modify it alittle to make it work... but guess im confused on all that... also the 01 model exhaust manifolds dont line up to the 96ish exhaust pipe flange... way different on mine... so now i gotta go run exhaust... lol

figured it out... i got a 96 motor but all the other crap is 89... screwed me up... i went to the JY and got the bracket... but now i got issues with the fuel rail... mounts dont line up and are in the way to seat properly... wondering if i need to go get a 98sh fuel rail or if i can use the 01 fuel rail... theres no overflow line though and im not sure how that will work with pressure... i would think i would still be alright!

sounds like you put a H.O. in a renix and used renix intake/exhaust, which doesn't even come close to lining up with the ports on a H.O.

if that's the case then yes, the renix fuel rail will not line up with the H.O. intake. you will need a H.O. fuel rail, and also you will need 91-97 injectors to connect up to your current injectors.

nope... not this guy... ding don before me who did the motor swap... port holes dont line up either? like intake and exhaust? well thats gay... i will probly get a big gain then after doing this... lol... i have ford yellow injectors in there now... i think i should be able to still use them when i get a newer rail and a longer fuel line from the body... do you know if i swap the rail over can i just not use the return line that i have since it doesnt hook to anything? or do i need to plug it? or what? anyway i started my own thread so i dont hi-jack this one... anyone with any info come on over... thanks!

Sounds like alot of oil in exhaust. Or fuel. In order to glow red I mean. In other words, you probably have a major intake leak because either you didn't torque the intake down proper, our you have aborla header which is not compatible without work.
