Default Darnell Hollow 10/19/08

My buddy called me this morning and wanted to get out and play for a bit. I packed up the dog and we went out to Darnell Hollow just to fool around. The weather was great, but the cold nip of winter is fast approaching.

And here's a couple from a run a few weeks back. Not many pics from that one, as the designated photog took a rock to the chest from the "Kamikaze XJ". Said XJ lost his 4x4 after about ten minutes on the trail, but that didn't keep him from trying EVERYTHING we encountered for the rest of the day, including a nasty hill climb where he shot a rock from his rear wheels that were spinning at about 7,000 rpm, which the cameraman stopped with his hands in front of his chest - which happened to be holding his camera...

Here's me and the Kamikaze XJ.

Thanks! It's an old powerline bypass between Bruceton Mills and Cheat Lake, WV. The trail head's about ten minutes from my house.

HA! I don't think she had as much fun as I did. She threw up... 4 TIMES! She's gonna have to work on those sea legs, cuz she's destined to be my wheeling buddy.
