Default AX-15 internal Slave, used, recon whatever

I am looking for an AX-15 Transmission with the internal slave.

If the price is good, I dont mind used, reconditioned/rebuilt, brand new

As long as it has low/medium miles, and is in pretty ok condition.

Thanks

Why not hold out for an external slave one.. easier to fix some of the clutch related issues that happen

Interesting..

What would I have to change out? I had always heard it was a pain in the butt, but whenever I asked what was involved, nobody ever would answer, or I would get the dreaded "stupid noob"

So what all is involved in using the later trans?

I have one with good internals besides a broken tooth on one of the gears. I'd let it go for like 75 bucks.

Basically it mounts the same way. You can buy a SS clutch line from Advance adapters, and reuse your stock Master.. just buy a new Napa slave and works great. YOu wil need to get the throw out bearing and all the associated stuff from an external slave Ax 15.

I did this swap on my XJ when I swapped out the Ba 10

Right on man, thanks

sounds simple, I had already imagined, having to get a new pedal assembly, master, clutch, slave and everything

Its an internal, but the slave is still good.

I dont know how the tooth got broken, I bought it that way as a replacement for my Jeep. It would need to be re-assembled as well. All the synchro's appear good and the bearings as well. The guy said it was rebuilt with not many miles on it since.
