If you send me your TB, I will get right on it, and can send it out within about 2 days from when I get it.

Kopecki, just use a small box and send thru the USPS. May be about $6.

Skipper--> Thanks for showing that blurb for those that dont know it!

XJ Chase, There is a waiting list for a 96.....You are now on it.....

Brave new world, yes, I will work on it the day I get it in the mail. You only go on the list if you want one and I dont have any cores.

I hate to sound redundant....but please sell me your cores...so our fellow forum members can get one of these too..
thanks to all that ordered...

TB showed up and I'm very impressed. It's in even better condition than I expected and the machinework is pristine. Nice work man. I'm taking it to get it powdercoated but I'll ship you my old core as soon as I get it swapped.

Thanks!

I could only find a flat rate box for usps that runs about $10... am I missing something obvious?

I wish the local junkyards didn't want so much for throttle bodies or I'd pull them and send 'em to you. They have them listed as carburetors and charge $37 for them. You will be getting mine back as a core though.

I don't usually use flat rate, I use a smaller box or make my own. Most times it costs me 6 to 7 bucks.

Alpine, thats a very cool idea...I was wondering if anyone was going to do that. Can you post a pic when you get it back? Thanks for the post!

what are the differences between the years of TBs? Obviously the pre 91 are three bolt. but what about from then on? MAP sensor can be capped, or tapped. any other difference?

91 to 94, no port since the MAP is on the firewall. 95 to 01, same as earlier except small port coming out of the bore for the MAP, and two mounting holes for the MAP.

If anyone wants to put in their own port and remote mount the MAP, Ive got about three 91-94s available.

If we send you one to bore (97-01), whats the price on that? And, will it be,"cleaned, blasted, bored and bearings are greased" as mention in the OP?

Awesome!

I can't remember from the last time I removed my TB... Does it have a gasket like some other vehicles or is it just straight unbolt/bolt on? It's been over three years since I last removed it.

If you want to send it to me, Im going to say $40. It will be cleaned, blasted, bored, cleaned again, greased, assembled and shipped.

Im also going to start charging $60 for my work. Cores are getting hard to come by, and shipping is going up at the post office as of today. You guys currently on my list are safe at $55, but now all new orders will be $60.

Yes, there is a very thin gasket under the throttle body.
