Pm sent to see if u have any 703 injectors! Also wondering if the 784 injectors would work with adapter if I install a TB spacer? Looked at a motor with one on it and it raises the linkage up!

Interesting question. Actually it got me to pondering. The only reason you can't use the 784's with adapters on the 96-98 XJs is they switched to those bigger fatter electrical plugs. The 3rd one back ended up being to wide to miss the throttle cable bracket. But not by much. I'm wondering if simply raising that bracket (2-3 mini washers under each of the throttle bracket mounting bolts should do it) would allow the plug/adapter to miss the bracket. Hmmm..I'll hit the junkyard and experiment.

Pretty much. You CAN get the 784's in there with the adapters and there is no problem for 5 of the 6. The third one back can will hit the throttle cable bracket if you try turning it towards the rear which is what usually is done when using the adapters. If you have a 98 and no cruise control you CAN get it to fit but it just barely makes it. I have seen some late model year 98s with the newer EV-6 injector plugs though.

He has the o-rings and everything on em', you just need some Vaseline (or oil) and dielectric grease.

I usually just put them in my mouth a second to get them wet and then install them. LOL

You're welcome..That place was closed! Who closes a junkyard on a weekend? That`s when people work on their stuff. Ended up going down Rt 15 to the Crazy Rays in Mt Airy. Lots of Cherokees there. Anyway since this is a for sale thread and want to stay on topic...I have a bunch of 4.7 "Stroker" injectors for sale
