They also cost more out the gate, don't offer a discount to cherokeeforum members, dont offer nut strips as a cost effective option, and require a lot more work for install.

Question for you guys who are running these kits.

Are you losing lift? I have RE 3.5" springs and 1.5" shackles and I do not want to lose any lift in the rear, nor gain. My shackle angle is terrible as well, about 90 degrees at the moment.

You MIGHT lose just a bit.. definitely no more than a half inch I wouldn't think.. it depends how long your shackles are though.

Definitely depends on current shackle angle and desired shackle angle as well as the length of your shackle. A longer shackle will have less tendancy to lose any lift when angled forward so that will help you out. I can tell you that I dont think HDs shackle relocation will allow you to move the top of your shackle forward enough. Alot of the guys installing our kits with 1.5" shackles are using the furthest forward mounting hole. Our furthest forward mounting hole is farther than HDs.

Thanks for the quick responses, that is the info I wanted to know as there is not a whole lot of info out about these kits yet. I must say getting an answer to my question this late at night from a vendor is remarkable, I am definitely going to order a set from you guys.

I did check out HD's relocation brackets, I am not to keen on them. Your kits look much cleaner and nicer.

Thanks again.

Nate, I'll be installing mine this weekend and hopefully give you a better idea on before and after. I have Rubicon express 5" shackles that are at a straight 90* right now. This weekend I'll be trying to adjust them down to between 30-40* and I'll take before and after measurements.

Yea, sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and dont have anything better to do so I surf the forums, which ends up keeping me awake longer because I find a cool article or build to read or I get into a long descriptive response. lol Im a Jeep enthusiast, just like you guys. So if there is a post that I can help out and offer up some info on then Im gonna take the time to respond.

We dont suggest stacking it on the skid, we actually designed it so you cant on purpose. You would need to remove the skid, install these, then the skid below it.

You are welcome to install these as well as weld them in place for extra support if you really feel it is needed.

Recommendations on any stacked applications are as follows from top to bottom.
-Aftermarket bumper
-Shackle Relocation Boxes
-Hitch
-Gas Tank Skid

These honestly only take a few minutes to weld. It would take more time to sort out welded and non welded orders.

Hey guys. We have compiled some of the write ups that have been posted and put together a PDF. Let us know what you think.

So you can mount the relocaters over a hitch and skid plate? That makes it easier that means I wouldn't have to drop those two things

The relocation kits need to go before the hitch and skid plate.
