So I thought I would throw this out there but it is NOT recommended. I have been running my driver side with one bolt the original hole. I striped my nut strip and getting new ones made and picking them up Friday. But what I want to say it that they are handling very well I am only driving around my house maybe 10 to 15 mins travel max. There is no problems so far i am going to check the bolt tomorrow to make sure it is tight. Plus I have a broken bar pin up front passenger side and that is causing ride problems lol

Hard to comprehend but it sounds like the nuts are coming loose? Ad thus you don't recommend them on a daily driver? I was going to use these on a daily driver..so I'm very curious about this issue. I'm driving 60 miles a day.

I've been driving on mine daily. Absolutely no problems. This product will be the key in retaining a low cog rig for me.

I think he's saying he only has one bolt holding his drivers side on, and is getting new nut strips because his are all stripped except the one hole. but he still likes the way they ride

No he is saying he doesn't have them bolted to the nut strips in the frame because he is getting some made, he has the one bolt that originally held the shack holding the whole thing. If bolted up as designed there is absolutely no dd issues, you have no reason to worry

What would you guys rather see offered with our Shackle Relocation Kits? Nut Strips or Bolt Strips?

Nut Strip pro - If the installer needs a longer 1/2" than supplied then they can easily go to the hardware store and buy a longer bolt for their application.

Bolt Strip pro - ALOT EASIER to line up all your components and bolt them in since you wont have to shine a flash light up into a hole to make sure the nut is lined up.

Bolt strips won't work BC u would have to cut open the frame I just tried this on Friday and it would need to be about a inch and a half BC I have about 3/4 of and inch of stuff bolted there as of now

Nut strips are the way to go if u line up the first and the last and put bolts in them the other two lines up

Ah, great point. My back crossmembers have always been cut out from installing bumpers inside of the frame rail so I didnt think about that. Thats why I ask for your guy's input.

Awesome! Yea, great price with the purchase of a Shackle Relocation kit. We will probably charge 30 bucks to purchase them seperately, which is still less then JCR.

I'm welding mine on this weekend as well to sturdy them up even more.. mostly because my bumper is a work in progress, and I dont feel like taking apart my leaf springs again to keep working.. so they're gonna be welded and bolted.. I'll try to remember pics this time!
