Bushwacker Flat Fender Flares
FLAT FLARES for you XJ in a box! They are available and ready to ship. I had pocket styles on mine took them and they will still fit! You have to cut a little bit more for them but not too much and they open the wheel well up way more. Here's a few pics:
3" lift with 33" tires and flat flares
Your price for these is $359.99 plus shipping.

How are the flares? are they stiff and brittle or do they have some flex to them?
how about the install? does it still require cutting past the pinch seam in the rear?
are you happy with the final product? (ease of install, finished look, quality of flare materials)

You do have to cut pretty far but just below the two factory mounting holes on top. They have 6 mounting points to the body and then 6 more for the flare to the mounting surface. They do flex but the part that mounts to the body is very stiff so only a little flex is there. As far as installation, it was very simple i did it by myself in about 2 hours total granted most of the cutting was already done from the pocket style ones. I am very happy with them as a whole. I finished Saturday, after i left the shop i had a guy get out of his car and ask me where i get them! They are definitely a unique look everybody and their brother has pocket style.
