Well once you have 285K on the odometer you start to get some blowbye well its not so bad, but I do get oil on the air filter, and it bothers the hell out of me. so I initially installed a little filter for an air compressor, well it started to over-pressurize and oil would squirt out of the hose connection and spit out onto the intake and exhaust manifold. so it would smoke like crazy and my Fiancee wouldnt like it because of the smell So I finally decided to take care of it I got an idea to use one of those little paint cans from the local home improvement store and some fittings Anyways here is the can and the mods I made and the final construction http://img189.imageshack.us/img189/8380/02102010033.jpg http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/1255/02102010036.jpg

this is a common mod for boosted cars. you can get them on ebay(reliable) for pretty cheap

im sure pressure buildup in the crankcase has cause some issues since I know the previous setup wasnt venting very well which was causing oil leaks, once I kid you not, I saw the hose balloon up and spit out oil from the vent on top of the valve cover, it was then that I decided to change it out

the biggest change so far, is that I dont get the burnt oil smell anymore, I just put it on last night, so we will see how much of a difference it makes, Im hoping to see a big change in my fuel mileage considering I did this and the injector change this weekend

that first one was pretty nice and cheap, I wish I had looked on ebay first
oh well

Im pretty satisfied how mine turned out
