Front diff 4X4 problem

i just got a 4X4 jeep Cherokee 1992.
the front diff wont lock it because of the vacuum system.
i dont know what to do replace the lines or replace the diff.
or can it be fixed.
please help me.

92 shouldnt have a vac front end

do some trouble shooting and see where the problem is. no vac, bad vac accuator, bad axle or trans case. you'll have to do some digging.

pull off the vac motor, and put vacuum directly to it, and see if it moves, if not there is your problem, if it does move, then check the hoses, and the switch in the t-case
