bleeding
Alright, I'm looking at replacing the power steering pump and both lines, pressure and return.
I've never had to swap out an entire unit like this before. I should prolly just look in my Haynes guide, but I don't have it here with me, so I gotta ask.
Is there any bleeding required when replacing psteering pump and lines?

Top it off to full mark, turn wheels lock to lock a few times and check the level.
Repeat this several times till the pump no longer whines. Then check it again routinely.

Just fill and cycle the steering, check the level and for leaks then you're good to go. Start the steering box end of the pressure hose first, then the pump end, but don't tighten them until you've got both ends threaded in a few threads. Remove the air box to make it easier to get to the steering box.

By the way, did you ever get a chance to check out my rattle can paint job? You've helped me decide to stay away from clear coat so paint can easily be repaired.

I check for the pics when i got home that day and didn't see anything. The filter at work won't allow me to see them now.
