35s are the ones that I have yet to bump up to as that seems to be the line, at least for me, of where parts can start to break when pushing too hard.

I used the aluminum grill mesh off of Amazon, and then I covered the headlight bezels and the grill with rustoleum bedliner material.
I forgot that I purchased new marker lights that have the chasing effect when you activate the turn signals. I may put those on in the morning.

I got lucky with mine a pretty long time ago.
Some guy was selling a chrome Limited grill but what caught my eye in the listing was the grill inserts in the grill.
They were originally a brushed metal silver.

You’re welcome. In addition to the mesh, I also cut a piece of wood to roughly 3“ x 8“ with rounded corners. I formed the mesh around that wood because I wanted the mesh to float inside of the grill openings. The mesh forms are attached to the grill using zip ties at the top and bottom.

And I would have used zip ties too.
How I put the ones I have on.
They came clips but they were so mangled when I removed them from the chrome grill that I could see them working so.....

This guy came up with these grill covers for colder weather.

I was wondering if they could be made to work as grill inserts with revising the program for printing.
Was thinking of contacting him to send him one of mine for the pattern.
I like the way they clip on.
Thinking of your idea with the wood wondered if you could cut out the center cleanly like they are and attach the grill mesh you used.
Use it as a frame of sorts.
Just one of the many dumb ideas I have come up with over the years.
LOL.

Installed my turn signals, like them a lot. Once I have the mirrored tint removed from the rear windows, my cosmetic tasks are done.
Then I need to figure out the best way to remove a stuck power steering hose without damaging the pump.
