Mine' just lays between the driver's seat & the centre console. It's not secured but it's never moved (then again I've never had it on its roof)

On the subject of extinguishers, they have a finite life, how often to folk replace theirs?

They should have a sticker or some type of tag on them to show when they are out dated.

Really, think that might be an American thing, I've certainly never noticed anything like that (only on commercial extinguishers that are subject to testing) only a rather pathetic little gauge I wouldn't trust.

I plan on getting a pair of extinguishers, one front and rear, then have them inspected when my company does our van extinguishers yearly...

Default Checked tracking to sunny Florida...SKIM DELETE!!!!

After loosing count on how many times I thought my 2000 GCL was going to behave and run...NOPE there's that wonderful HEY WRONG KEY, let me shut off your vehicle sir notification AGAIN. I pulled it packed it and shipped the PCM to Wranglerfix.com for a SKIM delete, and should arrive there on Monday. The question is If the computer that is a part of the halo is unplugged but not removed will it still......
No I just had an Idea
I'll just pull up Fusion 360 and 3D print a new Halo in JEEP Green.

Every description I've seen the part is removed and there's a big gap around the ignition. I also had fun drilling out the broken nub for the belt tensioner, and the front E Brake cable. Funny how the tensioner I bought on amazon was correct but the "special order Cable", have it next day was the wrong one. I sent someone to the parts store for wiper blades and the cable. I handed them one front and the rear, with a pic of both Brake cable ends just to be sure. You guessed it came back with 18" and a 10" wipers that didn't fit the arms, and had to wait another day for the cable. Thanks for listening, I do feel better now.

I thought it was only refillable extinguishers that could be tested, which excludes most of those we buy in auto parts stores & supermarkets.

I do like the idea of 2 though. So I think I'll get one for the back, then next year replace the one in the front & then replace each of them alternate years..

I came across this along time ago and wondered about it.
Want to say they were about $50 way back when.
Not anymore though. LOL.
Thinking cause of the size might not be a bad idea but....

Moved it from the side of the barn:

To in front of my office, so when I look out the window, or go outside, I have to walk past it:

Maybe this will encourage me to actually... finish it.

Not sure that isn't cost effective, over a period of time.

I did have one once, many years ago, ironically the only one I've had to use - never did find our how/where to get it refilled.

1996 XJ Sport, 375,000 miles
Replaced factory front park/turn lamps. Misreading the part number in references didn't help, but matched up to 2357A and they work.
