Radio, ac and turn signals suddenly stopped working
Hi guys,
i just bought a ‘94 a couple weeks ago and I had an issue with the thang overheating a bit when stopped. I found out that the previous owner had disconnected the e-fan. I plugged it back in and it has been running great.
My problem now is my radio, ac and turn signals all suddenly stopped working. Ive checked all my fuses and my relays seem fine. The previous owner had installed a jvc radio with some fatty subwoofers in the back. The weird thing was it ran good everything was working for at least a day. I’ll post a picture of the wiring setup homie did up front but I am at a loss for words. The thing that is odd is all things were all functioning at the same time.
I’m presuming that the guy was using the power from e-fan for radio etc. i could care less about the radio really working but not having turn signals and ac kind of sucks. Radio fuse?? Not broken. Ziptie special.
Weird setup for sure. If the PO tapped into the e-fan wiring for the stereo, plugging it back in might’ve messed with something. Check if the radio’s power or ground is tied into the e-fan circuit could’ve blown a fuse or fried a connection when the fan kicked on. Also, double-check the fuse box under the dash, not just under the hood. Sometimes there’s a separate fuse for signals and AC. If all else fails, trace the radio wiring to see where it’s spliced.
