Default turn signals and radio not working.

Yesterday on my way to work, my radio stopped working when I came out of the gas station, but after a few minutes, it worked again.
then this morning, I put gas in and then my radio wouldn't come on again, this time it stayed off. I tried all I could think of, but nothing!
half way to work at a stop light, I noticed my turn signals weren't working either. I'd move the thing and the lights and the green arrows weren't blinking.
AND THEN, on my way to lunch today, EVERYTHING worked perfect!
what the heck is wrong with it?!

Could be a bad ignition switch.

three things that immediately come to mind,
ignition switch-happened to me this way the 1st time
fuse-not sure about the 94's but the radio and signals run on the same fuse for later models
ground wire from headlight switch-sounds odd, but it could be the issue.

good luck

im 99% sure its the ignition switch. jiggle the lock cylinder inside the steering column. (in the driveway) and see if it sends power to it. The switch on my column had burnt and charred where the pig tail goes into the switch. Its located on top of the steering column as mentioned above.

when I would jiggle it back and forth it would turn on my stereo, AC, and cig lighter. and then I would hit a bump and , boom out goes power.

I ended up replacing the entire column because I ****ed it up trying to get the old switch to work after it kept getting stuck. The key eventually stopped turning in the lock and got jammed. I think it was the Lock cylinder actuator rod that was half of the trouble. kept getting stuck at ACC.

if you have a hard time turning the key past lock, On, or ACC. save yourself a headache and replace lock BEFORE it gets stuck haha.

I'd be shocked if you get an answer on a 6+ year old thread.

You may have to do some noggin' pokin' and look for a connector that's not connected tightly.

that's awesome thanks. Also how do I know if my ignition switch has a tilt wheel or not? Do all 1990s have one? Or does it just mean that I can tilt my wheel or not?

Yes - if you can tilt the wheel, it's a tilt wheel, if you can't, it's not. My 95 does not have tilt - though the ignition switch design changed drastically from the 94-95 model year due to the addition of a drivers side airbag.
