Took the kids out, wheeled it for about 3hrs straight. Creekbeds, steep climbs/descents, slowly navigating through trees, whole 9 yards.
It was 104 outside today. Running the AC the whole time. Max temp was 174(digital guage, verified accurate with IR).
Huh.
Dont get me wrong, lol, its very reassuring. But wrong. And not doing my gas mileage any favors.
My always-on aux fan(on the list to be fixed) is obviously part of the problem. But the thermostat seems to be opening around 170. So that needs to be changed.
LOL its really weird being in S Texas and complaing that my jeep is running too cool.

So it is supposed to be hot and humid today so thinking just putz around with the Jeep. Got a lot done yesterday. Sprayed some white lithium on the safety latch for the hood. It has been sticking a little lately and hit the other springs and the latches up front. Topped off the overflow tank a little. Changed one of nylon cable clamps that my overflow hose runs through. I used a smaller size on one location and a bigger size on the other two. Been meaning to swap out the smaller one forever. Have come to the conclusion lately that one of the best tool purchases I have made is my little magnetic wand. Being older I have problems with my hands. Been dropping crap more and more lately. The magnetic wand has been bailing me out more and more lately. LOL.

Drove around with my not so matched half doors for the first time. More paint and some bedliner!
