I paid $100. The previous owner upgraded to a Dynatrac axle and just wanted it gone. I had to drive a bit to pick it up but I thought it was worth it. I'm probably going to spend more on the dang air pump to hook up the locker lol.

In UT anyway, people won't pay you **** for parts on local classifieds.

"I can go to a junkyard and pull it for less than that!" is the most common response. I held out and got $200 for my D35 rear after a myriad of replies like above. Granted, it's no D44, but still… Maybe on bottom-line, flat cash you save, but man, it takes a while to pull something like the engine bay harness, and not break it. I'll keep it in a box and hold on until I get the price I want for the time I put in.

I've just about got the White Knight XJ gutted and will offer the remainder of the shell for free/tow it away scrap. I guess it's like your D44's PO, Hen, just want it all gone!

I'm about to head home and prep the backing plates for Black Bertram's rear disc conversion.

I'm also mid-way through a permanent solution to the rear liftgate latch—might be more complicated, but it will also help me with minor fabrication skills: gonna replicate the rod shape and die-thread it so I can put an actual nut on it.

Did a coolant flush as I go through and change all the fluids for my peace of mind. Just got it a month ago. Baby steps.

followed the coolant flush steps in this forums “How To’s”

Had trac lok at least ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I priced it and my Jeep buddy didn't say it was outrageous, so I just kept saying no to the low ballers. I may have given the buyer the has tank too, since I had no use for it as a spare.

Pulled the fender flares off my parts jeep and rigged them up on my main. The PO on my main xj cut and bent the back for more clearance for the tires, so I had to bend back the tabs with the holes and since the hardware all snapped off when I was pulling the flares, I ended up using the bolts and little clips for the front fenders off the parts jeep and it turned out pretty good. Where there's a will there a way right? Lol

Ah that makes more sense lol... you need to update your Jeep info, that '92 was what like, 4 jeeps ago?

This is kinda of embarrassing but since I have a factory 6 CD changer in my Jeep I am supposed to have a wireless remote. Came today. I'm sorry I wanted it. LOL

Actually I think it's cool that it works, and what's a piece of equipment without a control for it?

Yeah kinda. But it just does what the wired remote you see in the picture does. It has no range, but that might be cause the battery it came with might be kinda beat. It will turn on the CD changer to play but the wired remote is right there so..... I can pause with it. Which is something the wired remote won't do. Originally the Jeep should have come with one and I just wanted it. LOL.
