Default Air down what psi

So I got a deal on a set of used 36x13.5x20s with almost new super swamper iroks, the rims are 20x8.5. I'm thinking 8psi in the snow

i dont think youll be able to get to 8 psi on 20s. Youll bust a bead fast. On 20s, maybe 12 to 15 psi

I don't think so I have plenty of sidewall they measure at almost a 37inch tire an the bead is rusted on it would take alot to bust a bead but I dunno never had 20s

15 psi is the lowest I feel safe with on non beadlocks.

man alot people wouldnt air down 37s on 15 inch rims past 8 psi and that has a huge amount of sidewall. 20s are a terrible choice for offroading. 12 psi may even be too low, but the wide tire on a thin rim aids it. It doesnt take much to bust a bead at low pressures especially with weight and if the tire is turned.

see OP, I dont think you are going to get many recommendations to put psi so low on 20s.

I'd be more interested in seeing this Jeep with 20s lol... Especially 20x8.5 rims.

okay pictures help out alot. I hadn'tseen 37s on 20s in about a week or so haha. There definitely is not alot of sidewall. My 12 psi recommendation is soley based on thr fact that the tire is wide and the rim is thin. However, i would lean more on the 15 psi side if it were mine.

I'd let them down to 12psi give or take, great tire on a terrible wheel. Bring a spare!
