No problem but its going to be a package deal with the wind included! Its only 81° today so I got some heat to spare.
Wasn't bad here today... got up to 60F... But the deal's off if the wind has to come with it..... The part of AZ I'm in gets enough of that as it is. lol.

I did a lot to the Cherokee today. Hooked up the heater lines and to my surprise the core isnt leaking yet. I felt no need to buy XJ specific lines so I just used normal heater hose. I also put a new trans output shaft seal in it. Then I checked trans fluid level again. Took another quart. Next up was the power steering hose. Man that was a mess and a pain but its done and not leaking. Bled the ps system and topped off the fluid. And finally, let the other half take it for a drive around the block. She approves it. Successful night.
I installed a PUTCO high output headlight harness (Part # PUT230004HW). Pretty straight forward job and well worth the effort ... even though it was bloody cold out!

Uhh yes and no. It shifts normal and doesnt drop hard into first anymore, but it makes a knocking/ticking noise at idle. Sounds like its coming from behind the tq converter. You cant hear it from inside the vehicle, just when you are outside.
On the plus side, I drove it to work today without any issues.
What in the hell i just got done topping off my fluids and then came the transfer case....WHY do they have a hex head?! WHY!?!??! what hurt the most is i got a 9 mm hex head not a 10.....
Removed the insulation from under the hood in preparation for venting the hood. I think I may do mine differently than most. Instead of carefully measuring and drilling a bunch of holes, which is pretty easy, I'll just take the hood off and shoot it from the bottom side with several rounds of 12ga 00 Buckshot. That ought to vent it very well and with a unique look. LOL. (I'm not normal)

I had a friend who owned a small cafe beer joint years back. He was always having problems with his septic system backing up because of so many people using it on the busy weekends. "I'm going to fix that for good!" he said one day. About two weeks later he called about 6 of us and told us to bring our guns down he needed some help. So we all get there and find that he had dug a hole at the end of his leach-line and had parked a short bus down in it with the leach-line run into it. He looked at us and said "It needs a bunch of holes before I bury it guys!" lol
Had my oil changed yesterday. I had them put in 10/50 synthetic oil for my road trip to Baja next month... Idle oil pressure went from 20 psi to 40 psi.
The engine is now running about 15 degrees cooler than before the oil change...
AND , an oil leak I have been chasing, has either stopped or slowed to almost nothing !!! ?
