Nominated, haha

Seriously, though, might as well be 2010, with as long as it takes them to mail those things out, if at all...

Welcome
to the membership, 5-Speed!

Gun therapy and Jeep therapy yesterday...

Took the Jeep to the range doorless. Weather was nice for it. Ended up getting a little wet on the way home, but it wasn't too bad.

Then I decided to get rid of that pulling I was getting from the passenger side brakes...

Was grooved pretty bad.

All shiny and fixed up.

Yeah doesn't pull nearly as bad now. I think new CA bushings will solve the rest of the pulling to the right issue. I couldn't believe how bad the groove was.

So are monthly freight orders came into the auto parts store last week. I helped but it beat me up good. Really did not want to do anything but can't waste nice days. I decided to do some easier stuff. So I cleaned and degreased the inside of the supports for my factory running boards with my power washer and some Purple Power. Metal prepped them and am waiting for them to dry so I can coat the inside with some Eastwood Internal Frame Coating. Will prep and POR 15 the outside down the road. Also have the hardware for the running boards soaking in Evaporust. I help them along with a little wire brushing here and there. I use the brass wire brushes in the black pouch inside the nuts and a regular brass wire brush on the bolt threads. Giver a couple swipes with a regular steel wire brush on the heads bolts and outside of nuts. Down the road will take my thread restorer tool to them all. Also scuffed up the mounting brackets with my drill and a wire wheel to prep and POR 15 at a later date.

Continuing on with the cooling system overhaul.

Since I'm already in the area, figured I'd pull the timing cover off and replace what I'm sure is the the original crank seal and inspect the timing chain and gears. Gears are in great condition; timing chain...not so much. Ordered a Cloyes.

Hey, at least you did something!

I'm struggling to find motivation to work on mine. It's a beautiful day, but I'm so burnt out from it always being broken that I don't even care about fixing it
